Grasmere W.I.

Welcome to Grasmere WI

The WI celebrated its Centenary in 2015.

Grasmere WI was founded in 1919, and is one of the oldest WIs in the country.

Grasmere Village, famous as the home of poet  William Wordsworth, is situated in the heart of the Lake District.

We meet at 2pm on the second Thursday of the month at the Tithe Barn. The Tithe Barn is opposite St Oswald's Chruch in the centre of Grasmere.

New Members are very welcome. Come and join us!

We also welcome WI members from around the country who may be visiting this glorious part of England on holiday.

Details of all our meetings and activities can be found through the links on the left of this page.
